Abstract: As one of the basic sanitary facilities, public restrooms tend to transmit disease duo to large people mobility and reusable equipment and appliances. Based on the needs of the prevention and control of COVID-19, this article analyzed the key risk points of SARS-CoV-2 transmission in public restrooms, and discussed the association of personal behaviors with the risk of infection for users and restroom attendants. Suggestions on prevention and control measures were proposed for public restrooms from the aspects of improving the design of public restrooms, perfecting existing hygienic standards and facilities, strengthening ventilation, cleaning and disinfection, and personal protection.
